National and State Archives from all countries around the Baltic Sea cooperate to uncover their shared past

From every country around the Baltic Sea, one archival organisation participated in the Baltic Connections project. With the exeption of Germany and Russia, each organisation was responsible for carrying out all activities in its own country and described all relevant archival materials in its country, including materials kept by other repositories. Click on the names below or on the left for more information on the participants, such as contact details, accessibility, mission, relevant publications and provisional surveys of their own holdings concerning the Baltic Sea.

A number of repositories in St. Petersburg (Russia) have been covered by employees of the Estonian Historical Archives.
